Symptoms:

Cannot connect to or open Spyware removal & Anti-virus Websites

Possible Cause:

Unfortunately there are probably 2 problems. First you probably have a virus. Second (and what's not allowing you to open Spyware removal & Anti-virus Websites) is a file called "host" (on XP) that has been altered by some dirt bag. This will fix the latter.

Fixing "Host" File :

1. Open folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
2. open the file "hosts" with notepad by right clicking it > Open > select Program From List
3. If this is your problem you should ee the host addresses of sites you cannot connect to. delete all lines except a line containing "127.0.0.0   localhost".
4. Save the changes close the file

You Should now be able to Connect to the desired sites.
